I was born and raised under the vast skies and rolling hills of a ranch in southwest Montana. From an early age, the value of hard work was ingrained in me, echoing through the vast expanses where I spent my formative years. After serving in the military, I returned to the ranch with a renewed perspective. I encountered a new paradigm of agriculture centered around regenerative practices, which called into question the conventional methods I had once known. My return to the ranch also ignited a passion for wildlife, leading me to become a big game hunting guide. Living alongside the wildlife, I aimed to understand them at a deeper level. I monitored population levels year after year and studied the genetics among the elk and deer. It became clear that the land management practices I implemented played a crucial role in how the animals reacted and whether they would flourish or regress.

Life on the ranch grants one the ability to monitor what animals eat, when they eat, and how they move across the landscape. This knowledge isn't just a tool for a successful hunt; it's a blueprint for regenerative practices that work hand-in-hand with Mother Nature. By pairing my insights into wildlife behavior with an understanding of cattle ranching, I strive to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable ecosystem.
